Downtown's two tallest buildings dominate this
view of a Blue Line train at Pico. The Aon Center is 858 feet
high; and the US Bank Tower, at 1018 feet, is the highest building
in the USA west of the Mississippi. The building's name was
originally Library Tower, which was a pleasing one, indeed, while it
lasted. |
