There is a short stretch of third middle track
south of the Imperial/Wilmington station.
That transfer point is approximately in the middle of the
eleven-station stretch of old Pacific Electric right of way that the
Blue Line follows.
The train for Long Beach in this scene
has left the station some seconds before. It had come through
Watts, and will soon head through Willowbrook and Compton.
There is much poverty in view along the route, but also some signs
of renewal. |
