The Bayonne line ended at E. 34th St.
when this photo was taken. The line now goes one further
station south to E. 22nd St., another half mile or so closer to the
center of Bayonne. A final extension currently under
construction will take it another stop to the south.
Unlike most light rail routes in the U.S., the Bayonne line has
rush hour express service. The "Bayonne Flyer" skips
five
stations along its route to Hoboken Terminal. |
