Exchange Pl. in downtown
Jersey City was the northern end of the system when it initially opened in
the spring of 2000. This photo was taken there later
that year. The stop
is convenient to the
PATH station of the same name -- a station that was closed for an
extended period after September 11th.
There
were no American flags on the car ends in these very early, and innocent,
months of Hudson-Bergen light rail service.
