This scene shows a northbound train downtown along
California, a route shared by the D, F and H Lines. Only the D,
from Littleton-Mineral, goes
beyond center city, to 30th & Downing. The other two routes, F
from Lincoln and H from Nine Mile, loop
along the one-way street pattern.
The C Line from Littleton-Mineral and the E Line from Lincoln take
the alternate route north past the football stadium to end at Union
Station, or, more fully, Union Station: Lower Downtown (LoDo)/Coors
Field/16th Street Mall. The G Line never comes anywhere near
center city, but rather, runs between Nine Mile and Lincoln.
The remnants of that early September snow are
barely visible on the grass behind the train.
