Park Street Station

Transit history is explained to those who pause to read this display at Park Street Station in the Tremont Street Subway, the oldest subway on the continent.  

At one time, and briefly, the city's elevated system also ran some of its trains along here under Tremont, on tracks separated from trolley service, but that is a century or so in the past.
