TORONTO HEAVY RAIL
Scarborough RT

The Scarborough RT route is rather an anomaly on the TTC rail networks.  It utilizes a linear induction technology, quite different from that of any other rail line in the area.  And it runs on rails set to standard gauge, unlike the slightly wider gauge that the subway and streetcar systems each use.

In this view a train is leaving Kennedy, transfer point to the Bloor-Danforth Subway, for the five-station run out to McCowan.
