NEW YORK CITY HEAVY RAIL
Trains Across the Bridge

This photo is from the front end of a J train heading to Jamaica.  Trackage  is pretty much level near the high point of the Williamsburg Bridge.   A caution signal is set to dictate slow train speeds for the descent ahead to Brooklyn, a descent done very slowly -- as it has been done for many, many decades.  A Manhattan-bound train heads toward us on the opposite track.
