Much of the N Sea Beach Line is at or near the
surface. This photo is of the Bay Parkway Station. Express trackage
sees no service. A train is approaching the platform in the
direction of Coney Island, but it's headed with a diesel engine -- a rare sight
indeed. Weekend construction work is taking place in this view from
the mid-1980s. |
