From outside the Angrignon station one can look down
and in at a small bit of the Métro. The initials STCUM on the car
stand for Société de transport de la Communauté urbaine de Montréal.
By the time this photo was taken in 2002 the entity had been renamed as
Société de transport de Montréal, or STM for short.
All normal and special announcements in the system are made in French.
Passengers who only speak English, despite their wide presence in the
city, may have a difficult time with station agents or comprehending
announcements of system interruptions. |
