Although the system is entirely in subway, at at least a couple of
locations one can find glimpses of daylight. This train is at the Angrignon terminal station, southwest of downtown
on Ligne 1 - Verte (Line 1 - Green). Portions of the station
have windows with outside views.
This route and Ligne 2 - Orange are the main routes under the center city. Ligne 4
- Jaune (Yellow) is the very brief line to Longueuil, and the Snowdon to Saint-Michel
run to the north of downtown
is Ligne 5 - Bleue (Blue). There is no "3" route, as the planning and execution of the system has taken
various
twists and turns over its history. |
