The Green Line train headed west for Angrignon in this
scene gives a good sense of
scale for the art hanging over the end of the station at Berri-UQAM.
Montreal's system is very heavily used. Its routes comprise a
network of about sixty-five kilometers, and there are sixty-five
stations to it.
The Orange is by far the longest line, at close to twenty-five
kilometers. It currently ends its more eastern leg (of a rather
U-shaped route) short of Rivière des Prairies at the north side of the island.
It is being extended
under the river and into the city of Laval. |
