CHICAGO HEAVY RAIL
Early Morning, Rosemont

Chicago, despite hard times and various fiscal and other crises, has managed to construct long links to reach both major airports.  The Blue Line extension from Logan Square added nine stations and quite a few miles to the network.  O'Hare was reached in 1984.

Here early on a mid-spring morning in 2001 a Blue Line train is stopped at Rosemont, last station before O'Hare.  The outbound Kennedy Expy. is visible to the right.
