A train is arriving at the outbound platform at
California, Blue Line in this view. There are small shelter areas on the typical
"L" platforms that provide relief from both the wind and the
cold in wintertime. The
copious amounts of heat provided by these facilities is very much
appreciated on the tougher days of that season.
