CHICAGO HEAVY RAIL
Western, Station Above

The Western station straddles a fairly low overpass across that artery.  In this scene an airport-bound train is stopped for passengers, its exterior painted with colorful media advertising.

The Orange Line winds up crossing Western Ave. three times in the space of a mile or two, each time at a different angle, and each time parallel to a different railroad right of way.  This is the most southern passage, and the adjacent freight line is the old Grand Trunk Western, now a part of Canadian National.
