Dirt-streaked and heading into the sun, the front
window of this Brown Line train still provided a good view of the outbound
route to Kimball in this much later scene. I hadn't been this way in more than two decades on this particular afternoon. The
street-level portion was still there, as were the crossings
along the way. There was a continuity with the past as I know it,
and that I very
much embraced. |
