The shuttle from Howard St. has discharged its
passengers in Skokie in this photo, and it will soon switch onto a short
stretch of single track so that it can reverse directions.
Dempster Ave. is the busy main cross street reached from the
station.
For most of the 1990s through part of 2008, the Yellow Line did not
provide regular weekend service. Saturday and Sunday trains are
running again, on a trial basis. |
