CHICAGO HEAVY RAIL
Waiting at Skokie

This is another view in Skokie, with a Yellow Line train waiting to head back to Howard St.  There passengers can connect to the Red Line to downtown and beyond; or to the Purple Line to Wilmette, or, during rush hours, to the Purple providing express service directly to the Loop.

In a much earlier era "L" service came this far out.  The older line ended its run in 1948, in the dawn of the CTA era.
