CHICAGO HEAVY RAIL
Snow Tapering Off

The afternoon snowstorm is almost over but flakes are still falling in this scene looking north from the single pedestrian overpass at Madison/Wabash.  Visibility is limited; however, the red rear lights of the train at Randolph/Wabash glow quite brightly in the near distance.

The photographer was surely anticipating the pleasant heat from inside the southbound train, the headlights of which will surely soon materialize from the gloom.
