CHICAGO HEAVY RAIL
Snow Falling

Chicago was getting its first measurable snow on a mid-January afternoon in the strange winter of 2001-2002.  The Brown Line train in this scene is stopped  at LaSalle/Van Buren.  Large flakes are caught in the headlights and in the camera's flash.

There are thousands of images contained in these Urban Rail pages; this one is on my short-list of favorites.
