Quincy/Wells is one of the few remaining original Loop
stations, although even it underwent substantial restoration in the 1980s.
This view of it down a short alley or minor street provides some visualization of what
the structures once all looked like.
Behind the camera and on the other side of Franklin is the massive
presence of what was then named the Sears Tower. It all seemed very incongruous. |
