BAY AREA HEAVY RAIL
Bright Headlights

A train bound for SFO and Millbrae -- a routing no longer run -- approaches its stop at Daly City in this view.  It is a late afternoon in early autumn, and the lead car's headlights add substantial brightness to the scene.

BART utilizes non-standard, wide-gauge trackage, with its rails spaced at 5 feet 6 inches apart.
