This is another view at what was then the
terminal for Millennium
Line, at the former Commercial Dr. station. This train soon will head
out on the newer line, below street level for a while, then up and
through Burnaby to New Westminster, where it will join the
Expo line; it will then return on a different route through Burnaby, to
the upper level at this location as it
heads to downtown Vancouver, the long way around.
The track to the right carries VIA Rail Canada passenger traffic, as
well as Amtrak's daily Cascades trains, to and from the old Pacific
Central Station. |
