TORONTO LIGHT RAIL
Pedestrian Crossing

This view looks west along Queen St. W.  Just a block or two away is the complicated trackwork where that street, the Queensway, Roncesvalles St. and King St. W. all intersect.  A 501 Queen streetcar is approaching, destined for Neville Park Loop.

Pedestrian crossings are prominently highlighted on the streets of Toronto.  Unlike in a number of other major cities in the East, vehicular traffic must, and generally does, yield.
