TORONTO LIGHT RAIL
Young, Thin Trees

The trees are just beginning to take on autumn color in this view along Spadina Ave. in Chinatown.  The train in view is coming from Union Station.  That underground stop is a terminal for two lines, the 510 Spadina and the 509 Harbourfront.

The two lines travel outbound together through a stretch of subway with an intermediate station at Queen's Quay Station.  Out in the open, the 510 turns north and the 509 stays close to Lake Ontario, serving a variety of major attractions and activities -- another area of great redevelopment -- out to Exhibition Loop.
