The northern portion of the route runs intermixed
with regular city traffic along Commerce St. The maximum speed
anywhere on the route is the legal street traffic speed downtown: 25
miles per hour. But since the many traffic lights are prioritized for the trains, it doesn't take too
long to navigate the entire length of the line.
