ST. LOUIS LIGHT RAIL
Laclede's Landing

The train in this image is crossing N. Leonor K. Sullivan Blvd., which parallels the Mississippi in this historic and tourist-filled part of the city.  The boulevard was renamed from Wharf St. to honor a long-time Illinois Congresswoman.

The sign marks Laclede's Landing, now a very popular restaurant and entertainment district featuring cobblestone streets and old brick buildings.  (Pierre Laclede was the founder of St. Louis.)  Ahead in the distance are indistinct freeway bridges, and the towering spans of MacArthur Bridge.
