It would have been fine if a MetroLink train happened
to pass along the Eads Bridge above the freight on this particular day,
but such was not to be the case.
Four levels of transportation are visible here. The automobile and
pedestrian
roadway is on top, with light rail on the lower bridge level.
Below that is the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis
track, here with a bright red engine heading toward the camera.
The lowest level is a street, officially called N. Leonor K. Sullivan Blvd. |
