exit from the Eads Bridge -- is similar to that of the previous scene in
this series; but the picture was taken from the restored upper roadway.
Vehicular and pedestrian traffic descend in this view, and
MetroLink rises, briefly, toward central East St. Louis, visible in the background.
Part of an Amtrak train appears to the right. Train schedules
disclose no regular service along this route, so a specific
identification remains a mystery.
The Casino Queen Hotel and Casino is
strategically located near the MetroLink station here at East Riverfront, and
portions of
its massive parking lot and RV park are visible toward the lower right.
