In this view a train heading for downtown and Illinois
has just left the UM-St. Louis North station, and is crossing a viaduct
above this rather hilly part of the metropolitan area. Very
shortly ahead the light rail right of way will link up with that of the former Wabash route
that the line utilizes. An overpass from the abandoned
rail route is barely visible below the front end of the train. |
