This view of the brightly-lit Convention Center station downtown
again shows the old tunnels utilized by MetroLink, broken up by the modern
stations. These tunnels
likely represent the oldest underground construction on any urban rail
system in the country; but of course it took about 120 years for them to
achieve their current use. |
