SEATTLE STREETCAR
Curves onto Westlake Ave. N

The vantage point for this image is similar to that of the photo on the previous page in this series, but the camera is focused here more on the curves of the inbound rails, and less on the downtown skyline.  The purple streetcar had finished executing the twists that took it onto Westlake Ave. N, and the next few blocks are straight running along that street.  The are four stations along Westlake before the tracks merge to one for the final block in center city.

A block or so ahead, in an area soon to be completely redeveloped, is Westlake & Mercer, a stop yet to receive corporate sponsorship.  A bit of the service station pictured in the last image is visible; that business, and some other buildings in this scene have since been demolished.
