Carl St. is one of six different streets the
N-Judah line utilizes on its way out to Ocean Beach. This residential scene
is at the edge of the
once-infamous Haight Ashbury district. The tall building in the
distance is part of the campus of the University of California, San
Francisco.
The LRV and autos are modern in design, but the route's intimate
style
of street running is reminiscent of the way things were a
half-century and more ago. |
