The cross street just ahead in this scene is 40th Ave.
Although the ocean
is well over a half mile away, the camera's zoom capabilities exaggerate both the
nearness of the water and the magnitude of the downgrade required to get there. But it's
a lovely -- perhaps awesome -- view either way. Both light rail and regular street traffic
use the inner lanes here. There
are frequent four-way stops along Judah, even though in most cases it is the
much busier street. |
