SAN FRANCISCO LIGHT RAIL
Terminal

The L-Taraval ascribes a one-way loop along four streets to reach its terminal, shown here, near the San Francisco Zoo.  The stop is on quiet Wawona St.  This section of track is the only area along the five regular Muni light rail routes where there is single-direction running along city streets.

The train in this scene will shortly head toward downtown.  The ocean is beyond the grassy dunes in the distance, and the Zoo entrance is a block to the left.

Most of the rest of this section presents a more leisurely progression of images from the West Portal area back out to this terminal loop.
