West Portal Ave., St. Francis Blvd., and Junipero
Serra Blvd. intersect at a very hectic road junction at St. Francis
Circle. Added into that mix is the
light rail junction for the K-Ingleside and M-Mountain View lines.
On the clear winter day pictured here an inbound M-Ocean View train
leaves its short stretch of private right of way, and prepares to
cross and merge with K-Ingleside tracks. That
longer route from Balboa Park serves a large shopping mall
and San Francisco State University. The Boeing-Vertol vehicle
in view here is no longer in regular service anywhere.
