The K-Ingleside was extended in 1979 a short way
from its old terminal loop near City College to
reach Balboa Park. This was the first of the three lines to
provide service to that destination. The expansion was linked with the coming of the
new Boeing-Vertol cars to the Muni system.
In this view an
