This image is also from along the newer stretch of the
J-Church, a portion that features reserved running in the middle of San Jose
Ave. The "feel" of this portion of the route is very different
from the rest of the run.
The extension in the early 1990s out to Balboa Park added
about 2.3 miles to the short line. |
