The route along Commercial St., in this view not that
distant from
downtown San Diego, reflects the line's freight
traffic heritage. There is no ornamental
pavement here, and no particular separation from road traffic. The street
shows itself to be in a state of some disrepair.
The
rail junction with the San Ysidro/Tijuana Blue Line, and with yard trackage, is ahead.
Our train will veer right, and into the station at 12th & Imperial Transit
