Rather whimsical representations of stacks of
books grace the center platform at the Library station. The
taller one seems ready to tumble at any moment. The
tower of the Salt Lake City and County Building appears to rise
right above and out of it. That structure dates to 1894; this
is a Western city with much preserved history.
