UTA LIGHT RAIL
Rails in Pavement

200 West does not carry too much street traffic south of downtown Salt Lake City.  The inbound light rail vehicle, stopped at the 900 South station, is the only clear sign of activity in this November morning view.

The Utah Transit Authority serves a large geographic area, six counties -- over 1400 square miles -- along the Wasatch Front.  Its formation dates to 1970.
