The railroad heritage on the route through South
Salt Lake City and Murray and beyond results in much industry along
the way. Light rail runs zip across a number of street crossings on this portion
of the route.
Construction is underway for a third TRAX line, one that will take
trains along the Mid-Jordan Transit Corridor. It will branch off close to current 6400 South/Fashion
Place West station, and will head seven stations southwest through Murray, Midvale, West Jordan and
South Jordan. |
