The evening sun reflects against surfaces as a
streetcar straightens out on NW Lovejoy St. for its inbound journey.
Much of the line is within the Fareless Square, but
passengers from locations here in Northwest Portland must pay the standard
city fare, $1.75, which is good for the entire day on the Streetcar.
Those needing to pay for passage do so from a machine on board; the operator
is not involved, and a "proof of payment" system is in use. MAX
two-hour or day passes are honored. |
