This part of SW Moody Ave. was in transformation at the time
of this 2007 photo. New track, recent buildings and the Portland Aerial Tram
appear, but so do old warehouses and other buildings of commerce.
A Southern Pacific branch line once ran through here. South of the
Streetcar's Lowell station about six miles of that route has been preserved
as the Willamette Shore Trolley. At some future point the Streetcar
may reach Lake Oswego along that old right of way. |
