The streetcar line's opening and other economic factors have fostered
the near-total redevelopment of the Pearl District, with tremendous new
growth, medium-density
residential, and commercial.
The Streetcar seems to be a very good idea with lots of promise.
The run seen here has just recently made the ninety-degree left turn off NW
10th Ave. onto NW Northrup St. It is leaving the growing heart of the district. |
