Vanport Bridge is an elevated structure that stretches some four
thousand feet across territory that includes busy NE Columbia Blvd., other roadways, the Union Pacific Railroad,
industrial land and the Columbia Slough. Part of the bridge is visible
in this view. A Yellow Line train travels above, and a very long and
slow westbound freight is at street level. |
