From a much older MAX era, prominent highway signs are in
place to help keep road traffic off the dedicated MAX right of way
approaching and leaving Steel Bridge. There is evidence of auto
traffic tangling with the barrier as the road turns sharply to the right.
This train for Gresham is almost finished achieving its steep grade,
greatest on the MAX system, to
reach the upper level. |
