Interstate 5, which carries a huge amount of highway
traffic, passes over Eastside MAX in this view. By common description, the
territory east of the freeway in this area is called the Lloyd District, and west,
Rose Quarter. The train approaching the
camera is stopped at the Convention Center station, second of the four eastbound
stations in the Free Rail Zone after the river crossing.
The picturesque West Hills are fairly far away, past downtown and neighborhoods beyond it. |
