PITTSBURGH LIGHT RAIL
Station Square and Incline

Station Square, close to the south side of the Monongahela River, is a busy destination point for passengers; there are numerous restaurants and other entertainment establishments nearby.  Just beyond the station, part of which is pictured here, the outbound "T" turns sharply left to enter the Mt. Washington tunnel.  Quite visible in this scene is one of the cars of the Monongahela Incline, a service which is a wonderful, small and decidedly steep part of the Pittsburgh transit scene.
