PITTSBURGH LIGHT RAIL
Light Rail System Map

With the reopening of the Overbrook line in June, 2004, colorful revised system maps were installed at the major "T" stations.  This particular one is at South Hills Junction, where on the map the orange-colored Allentown line ends back into the rest of the system south of the Monongahela River.  The Overbrook route is represented south of that point by the blue and green routes that diverge right; and Beechview, by the red and brown lines to the left.

It took a bit of reading for many to realize that some of the specific services and route identifications shown were not scheduled to begin operation until several months later -- an event which did not happen quite as planned.  The very limited service then available to and from Penn Station is not depicted at all.
